Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Cyber Essentials Plus certification demonstrates to your customers and interested parties that your organisation has been assessed against a recognised, UK government-backed cyber security standard.

Building on the underlying requirements of Cyber Essentials, a Cyber Essentials Plus assessment includes an active assessment from our IASME accredited consultancy team. During your assessment, the following activities are conducted against users and systems in your organisation to provide assurance that your organisation has implemented the requirements of the Cyber Essentials scheme:

• External Vulnerability Assessment
• Endpoint Patching Assessment
• Administrator Account Segregation
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Anti-Virus Configuration Review
• Email-Based Malware Assessment
• Web-Based Malware Assessment

When your assessment takes place, our consultancy team will provide regular feedback and pragmatic advice to ensure you understand any security weaknesses that may prevent your organisation from passing the assessment. If the assessment is successful, your organisation will be awarded Cyber Essentials Plus certification which remains valid for 12 months. You also receive a certificate and digitally-signed logo to display on your website.

If for whatever reason your organisation is unsuccessful in passing your assessment, we offer a discounted Cyber Essentials Plus Retest service, to give you chance to take onboard the assessor’s feedback, apply the necessary remediation actions and then book a retest shortly after.

PLEASE NOTE: It is an IASME requirement that all organisations wishing to certify against Cyber Essentials Plus, have already completed Cyber Essentials Certification within 90 days of passing Cyber Essentials Plus. If your organisation has not passed Cyber Essentials in the past 90 days, you will need to complete a new Cyber Essentials assessment before proceeding with your assessment.
