Privacy Notice

SecureTeam is absolutely committed to protecting and respecting privacy.

This privacy notice tells you what to expect when we collect personal information. It applies to information we collect about:

Visitors to our website

When someone visits https://secureteam.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

People who use our services

  • We ask for a nominated contact within an organisation that uses our services.
  • If the information does not come directly from the individual concerned it will come from the client organisation.
  • This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with our clients.
  • We retain the information for the duration of the contract plus twelve months.
  • If we do not have a contact we will not be able to provide the services.
  • We also provide a website contact form where clients can order service delivery.

People who email us

People who want our marketing information

  • We provide marketing information to people who are interested in our services.
  • We only provide this information where you have specifically consented to receiving it.
  • We will retain your data only until you tell us that you no longer want to receive communications from us.

Our consultants

All of the information provided is used during the time you remain a consultant with us to facilitate communication and for the purposes of our legitimate interests to provide a professional service to our clients or to fulfil legal or regulatory requirements if necessary.

We will not share any of the information you provide during the recruitment process with any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the European Economic Area. The information you provide will be held securely by us and/or our data processors whether the information is in electronic or physical format.

We keep the information for the duration of our contract and six years thereafter. Failure to provide the personal data will regrettably mean that we will not be able to use you as a consultant.

Your rights

You have a number of rights under data protection law. They are for you to;

  • be informed about how we use your data;
  • have access to your personal data;
  • rectification if we hold inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • erasure of your personal data in specific circumstances;
  • restrict processing in certain circumstances;

In many circumstances we will not disclose personal data without consent.
